Publish a video

To publish a video:
  1. Upload the video from a local file, a remote URL, or a Google Drive account. Gcore transcodes the source automatically — adaptive renditions at SD, HD, Full HD, 2K, and 4K are packaged as HLS MPEG-TS, HLS CMAF, MPEG-DASH CMAF, and MP4.
  2. The VOD status page shows transcoding progress — renditions become available as each quality level completes.
  3. Embed the hosted player using the iframe code, or use the HLS or MPEG-DASH manifest URL in a custom player.
Subtitles and closed captions, multiple audio tracks, AES-128 encryption, viewer statistics, and VOD2Live simulation extend the basic workflow. For large libraries, multi-codec VOD reduces CDN traffic at comparable visual quality.
